Salute to the Doolittle Raiders
On April 18, 1942, a small group of Army Air Forces aviators changed the momentum of World War II with a single, audacious strike. Known as the Doolittle Raid, this operation — launched from the deck of the USS Hornet — was the first U.S. air attack on Japan’s home islands.
Come join us on April 17 as we join in a nation-wide toast to the Raiders with guest speaker General Dan “Raizin” Caine, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. We’ll supply the Hennessy Cognac and a commemorative Raiders shot glass. Food is available to order. The webcast starts at 4:30, so please be there by 4:15
We are limited to 40 guests, so please let us know you are planning on attending by emailing Dave Estep dave.estep@gmail.com. This event is free but donations are appreciated if you’d like to contribute.
