Advocating for a Dominant Air & Space Force

The Sam Johnson Chapter is a vital link in the Air & Space Forces Association’s national advocacy mission. In an era defined by Great Power Competition, our chapter works to ensure that North Texas remains an informed and powerful voice for aerospace superiority.

We support the National AFA advocacy program by engaging our elected leaders at the local and national level and ensuring they are aware of issues that affect the development and maintenance of air and space power.  We provide a direct channel between our 1,200+ members and elected officials to discuss the critical need for a technically superior workforce and modernized defense capabilities.  We also help build informed citizens through our National Defense Briefing Series, working to translate complex national security challenges into actionable insights for our community.

Our Chapter efforts are synchronized with the AFA’s national priorities to ensure a unified front in Washington and at home.
