Be the Mission: Get Involved with the Sam Johnson Chapter
The Air & Space Forces Association is only as strong as its local roots. As one of the largest chapters in the nation, the Sam Johnson Chapter has a unique opportunity to shape the future of aerospace advocacy, community service and STEM education—but we cannot realize this potential without you.
Whether you have a few hours a month to serve on a committee or the professional expertise to lead the chapter, there is a place for you in our leadership ranks.
Our Leadership Structure
The Chapter is governed by elected officers and an Executive Committee of appointed Vice Presidents and coordinators who manage our diverse lines of effort.
The Elected Officers
- President : Leads strategic direction and external advocacy.
- Executive Vice-President : Manages internal operations and chapter growth.
- Senior Vice-President : The President-in-Training
- Secretary : Oversees chapter records and administrative continuity.
- Treasurer : Manages our funds and ensures fiscal responsibility
The Chapter Executive Council (Appointed)
Our Council manages the “boots on the ground” programs that define our chapter’s impact. We are always looking for members to assist or lead in these areas, especially Social Media and STEM. If you have a skill you’d like to use, we’ll find (or create) a job for you.
