National Defense Briefing Series (NDBS)

The National Defense Briefing Series (NDBS)
Professional Insights for a Complex Global Landscape
About NDBS : The Sam Johnson Chapter is proud to be a founding partner of the National Defense Briefing Series (NDBS), a premier quarterly program designed to bridge the gap between national security experts and the North Texas community.
In an era of Great Power Competition, staying informed on global threats, aerospace innovation, and strategic defense policy is more critical than ever. The NDBS provides a high-level forum for civic leaders, military professionals, and concerned citizens to engage with the thinkers and doers shaping our nation’s future.
Our Mission: Informing the Community
The NDBS operates as a unique collaborative. We partner with five distinct charitable organizations to ensure that 100% of the funds raised through this series are distributed to support veteran services, STEM education, and civic advocacy.
What to Expect at an NDBS Event:
- Expert Keynotes: Hear from former intelligence directors, retired General officers, and leading aerospace engineers.
- Strategic Networking: Connect with over 1,200 local members and corporate partners in the Dallas-Collin County area.
- Actionable Intelligence: Gain insights into topics ranging from orbital debris (Kessler Syndrome) to the future of the B-21 Raider and global cyber defense.
The 2026-27 Briefing Series
We are currently planning our upcoming quarterly sessions. These events are the primary “Force Multiplier” for our chapter’s advocacy, allowing us to:
- Educate the public on aerospace power.
- Advocate for a technically superior workforce.
- Support the total Air Force and Space Force family.
